Providing fast sanding with less heat, 3M™ Cubitron™ II 984F fabric tapes ensure consistent surface finish throughout the life of the product, while preventing workpiece burn during sanding. Our fabric belts use 3M™ ceramic abrasive grains that are electrostatically positioned to form sharp tips that act as separate cutting tools and cut through metal quickly. These tips continuously sharpen themselves as they break away, providing long life and a smooth finish with less grinding pressure. This is the reason why our belt products grind better and last longer than traditional industrial ceramic abrasive products on the market. They have a mesh solution that increases their strength for medium to high pressure applications. Our abrasive belts are available in a variety of widths and sizes, making them suitable for almost any industrial belt sander. The narrow belts are used for portable belt sanders for sanding or single sanding.
